The customer buys the product, whose characteristics are specified in the online datasheet, at the indicated price to which delivery charges mentioned in the website must be added. The customer can check the product availability in the datasheet. Indicated delivery times refer to advance PayPal payments. Different payment methods, such as bank transfer, may change the delivery time because the order will be filled only upon confirmation of receipt of funds in our bank account.

Before sending the purchase order, a summary page allows the customer to review the unit cost of the purchased product, the total cost when purchasing multiple items and their delivery charges.

Shipping charges are calculated at the moment of the order on the basis of the weight and volume of packaging. The cost of the shipment is mentioned directly in the final phase of the order.


The purchased product along with the relevant invoice is delivered by courier service to the address specified by the customer when ordering online. Alfa Refrattari s.r.l. commits itself to shipping the goods within the specified delivery date and in any case no later than 20 working days from the date of receipt of the confirmation of the transaction.
Shipping options may vary depending on the weight, the size of the product and the delivery address. Please note that the courier will deliver to ground floor.

The delivery times indicated refer exclusively to the available items and will run from the time of shipment. At the time of shipment, a tracking number assigned by the courier will be notified to the customer.
If Alfa Refrattari s.r.l. could not guarantee delivery times for your order, the customer would be informed directly with an e-mail message.

When Alfa Refrattari s.r.l. hands over the product to the courier in charge of the delivery, a shipping confirmation e-mail will be sent to the customer. From then on, the courier takes charge of the delivery and Alfa Refrattari s.r.l. will not be responsible for any delay or inconvenience.

Delivery will be made from Monday to Friday during normal business hours excluding bank holidays as specified by the courier. Delivery shall be completed when the product is made available to the Customer at the address specified in the order form. In case of failed delivery attempt, the courier will send a notice and make a new attempt according to the instructions provided by the recipient with the eventual activation of on-demand delivery service. In this case, Alfa Refrattari s.r.l. will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by the recipient as a result of his/her choice of delivery and, as such, due to circumstances beyond the Company’s control.

In case of another unsuccessful delivery attempt due to the recipient’s absence, the Customer Service will contact the customer to rearrange a further delivery date. In the event that the Customer Service couldn’t get in touch with the customer for 10 (ten) consecutive days or in case of repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts due to the recipient’s absence, the products will be returned to Alfa Refrattari s.r.l. After 30 (thirty) days from returning products to Alfa Refrattari s.r.l. due to inability to deliver the goods, the contract will be terminated and the purchase order cancelled pursuant to article 1456 of the Italian Civil Code. Alfa Refrattari s.r.l. will refund the amount paid by the customer minus the return shipping charges and the costs of custody of the products on the courier’s premises.

The rescission of the contract and the refund amount will be communicated via e-mail. The refund amount will be credited back to the current account used by the customer who made the payment. In the event that, before the expiration of 30 (thirty days), the customer asks for the product to be redelivered, Alfa Refrattari s.r.l. will redeliver the goods after charging the customer for delivery, return shipping and custody fees.

Upon taking delivery of the products by the courier charged by Alfa Refrattari s.r.l., the customer has to check scrupulously:
a) the packaging is not damaged or tampered with
b) the parcels delivered match the shipping documents
Any damage to packaging and products or the mismatch between items and purchase order must be immediately reported to Alfa Refrattari s.r.l. Customer Service by specifying the number of order in which these inconveniences have occurred.

WATCH OUT! If you don’t make a complaint immediately, the delivered products are supposed to be in perfect condition and you can no longer ask for a refund.
